Description
“Bring Kara here, to my new life, and see what colour she will paint it.”
Alec hides from his past in music and a white-walled flat. Then a mathematics textbook brings back the late 1990s, when he arrived at university, donned a greatcoat, set about becoming someone more interesting – and fell in love with Kara.
Kara believed there was a solution to everything. But funny Alec and his reckless best friend were impossible to calculate. The harder she searched for answers, the more mathematics and emotion collided.
Now the textbook’s owner keeps turning up at Alec’s flat. She reminds him of Kara – and of the question he has spent years avoiding: how much of what happened to her was his fault?
